The Start-Up Network supports the consistent growth of startups through the provision of authentic information on startup and business resources, support service providers, events and programs, investors and funding agencies and needed support system. It provides heavily discounted start up support services to startups.
As part of their contribution to enhancing the Startup Eco-System in Ghana and providing the support and public recognition needed for outstanding startups in Ghana to thrive, they introduced the Ghana Startup Awards; a flagship initiative of The Startup Network, a subsidiary of The African Network of Entrepreneurs (TANOE) in Partnership with Avance Media & Joy Business
The 2016 Ghana StartUp Awards which was also the maiden edition came off successfully on 11th May, 2016. The award ceremony was aimed at Honouring Innovative And Globally Competitive StartUps and sought to celebrate ambitious and indigenous Ghanaian start-up businesses that are making impact, contributing to economic growth, meeting social needs and putting Ghana on the global economic map. The event was hosted by Jerry Adjorlolo and was held at the British Council.
eCampus LLC was named part of 100 globally competitive startups in Ghana, and for the award, competed with seven other startups under the Education category.
We deem it a great honour to be awarded the overall best Education Startup in Ghana. We are grateful to The StartUp Network for this brilliant initiative.
